“The Federally Funded Summer Meal Programs are a cost-effective way to provide children with quality nutrition during the summer, that they may not otherwise receive”, states Julie Farris, Director of Child Nutrition Department. “We have children in our community who live in “food insecure” households and this program helps support our families in need.”
