The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce recently honored Rockwall ISD as their “Partner of the Year.” The award was presented at the Chamber’s annual partner appreciation dinner that was held on Tuesday, February 18.
The Partner of the Year award is given by the Chamber to honor a member organization that has successfully partnered with the Chamber and area businesses throughout the year.
Rockwall ISD facilities were utilized this past year to host the Taste of Rockwall and Business Expo and the Chick-fil-A Leadercast. In addition, the district hosts an “Rockwall ISD Day” for the Leadership Rockwall program. Leadership Rockwall is a Chamber initiative that, among other things, exposes community business leaders to the workings of Rockwall’s governmental entities.
“As we serve our 14,500 students and their families, we understand the benefits of fostering strong business and community relationships,” said Rockwall ISD Superintendent of Schools Jeff Bailey. “Rockwall ISD has enjoyed a long-standing partnership with the Chamber and we look forward to continuing and strengthening that partnership in the future. We are very honored to be chosen as Partner of the Year.”
