Springer Elementary Students Have Eventful Day of Learning with Fun Activities

Third grade students in Ashlie Newberry’s class have the opportunity to “mystery” skype with someone in another country on a bi-weekly basis.  Students have to figure out where that person is located in the world based upon clues.

Great critical thinking skills used in this types of activity.

Students also met a very special guest, Mrs. Tammy Lacroix, whose son donated a weather center in the Springer garden, and spoke to the class about the weather center and how to apply science.

The class topped off the day by using a magic question ball, which helps keep them engaged and on their toes!  What an amazing day of innovative learning in Mrs. Newberry’s class!
