The 2013-2014 Rockwall-Heath Showstoppin’ Seven Highstepper Officers attended Officer Camp June 7 – 10. The group performed a home routine for evaluation and attended various choreography and leadership classes. As a special treat, the Officers had the pleasure of learning from guest choreographers Tiffany Maher and Cyrus Spencer (Top 4 and Top 10 contestants on So You Think You Can Dance). Overall the Officers scored in the top 10 and came in second out of 42 squads attending camp.
The Showstoppin’ Seven received the following awards while at camp:

- Outstanding Home Routine Choreography
- Home Routine Crowd Pleaser Award
- Superior Performance on Home Routine
- Most Spirited Officer Squad
- Elite Superior Gold
- Elite Performance Circle
The Rockwall-Heath Highsteppers will attend line camp at the end of July, where the officers will lead the entire team through some of the same activities they experienced. The Team is also preparing to host Highstepper Mini-Camp for aspiring Highsteppers on July 22.
