Amy Parks-Heath Elementary Makes Model School for the Second Year in a row! To share the great news with students the teachers and staff surprised the students with a FLASH MOB celebration.
To become a Model School representatives from Great Expectations tour each school site on an unannounced day and examine the culture of the school and how GE practices and principles were being incorporated.
To become a Model School, 90% or more of teachers must be implementing all of the GE practices in the classroom on a daily basis. Dr. Helm, Principal of Amy Parks states “We are very proud to be recognized as a GE Model School for the second consecutive year, and it would not have happened without the hard work from teachers and students, as well as the community support and guidance we receive from the GE organization.”
