The Rockwall High School Stingerettes competed in the American Dance and Drill Team National Championships on the campus of the University of North Texas this weekend in the highly competitive Super Team division. The Stingerette officers swept the contest, winning National Champion Officer Open, National Champion Officer Jazz, National Champion Officer Lyrical, and National Champion Officer Contemporary.
Congratulations to the National Champion Stingerette officers! The Stingerette Showstoppers competed in the Elite category, where they took home National Champion Contemporary, National Champion Pom, and National Champion Open. The Stingerette team competed as well and brought home National Champion Lyrical, First Runner Up Novelty and First Runner UpModern.
