Three of Rockwall ISD’s four varsity basketball teams advanced to the playoffs this season.
The Rockwall-Heath Hawks Boys team had a historic season, recording 28 wins and only 1 loss. They were District 12-5A champions and ranked as high as fourth in the state. The Hawks won their first ever playoff game before losing in the area round.
The Rockwall-Heath Hawks Girls team advanced to the playoffs for the second time in school history after a 10 game win streak to close their season. Their record was 18 wins and 10 losses with only 2 losses in district play.
The Rockwall High School Girls team were the District 11-6A Co-Champions with a record of 25 wins and six losses. The Yellowjackets charged into the playoffs with wins in the bi-district and area rounds before falling in the regional quarterfinals.
