Springer 2nd Grade Students Create Paper Mache Globes

As part of 2nd grade social studies unit on landforms and bodies of water, students studied the seven continents and Earth’s oceans.  After learning about and locating the continents and oceans on maps, students enjoyed creating their own paper mache globes.  What a creative way to learn about geography!
