Nebbie Williams recently held their fall book fair and it was a huge success.

“The students get so excited about the fair and I do, too,” said librarian Katherine Zurbach.“  I love book fairs because it gives students exposure to more books and allows them to explore literature in a different way than coming into the library to check out books.”

“Reading is fun because some of the books talk about things that you actually like,” said Aiden Berry, a third grade student.  “My favorites are the Minecraft books.  I learn a lot of tricks in the books that I can use when I play Minecraft at home.”

Nebbie hosts two book fairs each year (one in October and one in May) and each fair helps the school.  Past proceeds have gone toward dictionaries for 3rd and 6th grade, books for the library, resources for teachers, library furniture and teacher books for their classroom libraries.
