The Nebbie Williams Student Spirit Squad (S3) and the student lighthouse team, along with staff members Lisa Efaw, Lavonda Montemayor, Leila Gibson, Lana Edwards, Brandi Lindsay, and Melanie Pyland enjoyed working on the homecoming float.
“Everybody pitched in as a team,” said Brandi Lindsay, Nebbie’s counselor. “We really felt a great sense of pride for our community.”
The event was held to promote spirit, be a positive team-building experience for everyone involved and be a great kick-off to the holiday season.
Nebbie Williams would like to thank the following parents for their amazing help: Mike Smith for donating the trailer and driving us through the parade, Mrs. Valentino and Mrs. Marro for decorating with balloons, Mrs. Samples for her use of duck tape, Mr. Brown for blowing up the inflatable instruments and Mrs. Miller for her 80s vision.
