Jonathan Phelps, senior at Rockwall High School and four-year member of the Orange Wave band was selected to be a member of the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All State Symphony Orchestra. Jonathan was selected by taped audition to play jazz drum set for the All State group at the TMEA Convention in San Antonio this coming February. He will perform Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Suite on West Side Story among other selections. Jonathan was also selected to be the drummer for the Region III All Region Jazz Orchestra.
