Stevenson Elementary Annual Pi – Day Competition

Billie Stevenson Elementary held their annual 6th grade Pi-Day competition this week.

The following students took on the challenge of memorizing as many digits of the mathematical constant of Pi, 3.14159 ect., which is a never ending decimal number.

1^st place  Marqelle Fisher recited 254 digits of Pi
2^nd place Payton Brott 221 digits of Pi
3^rd place Aubren Montgomery 190 digits of Pi
4^th place Brianna Buckner  141 digits of Pi
