Meteorologist Kevin Roth from Eye Opener, the CW’s morning show, presented to four first grade classes at Jones Elementary this morning. The first graders were enthralled with learning about the different kinds of weather as Mr. Roth showed them what a meteorologist actually does.
The students had the opportunity to act out different kinds of weather with Mr. Roth as he gave them examples of different scenarios. One of the more important things that Mr. Roth taught the first graders was how to protect themselves during dangerous weather conditions. This was a great opportunity for first graders to get a better understanding of how weather actually works from the weatherman himself.
