The Cheer team from Rockwall-Heath High School competed in the first-ever UIL State Spirit Championship on Friday, January 15th on the Campus of the University of Texas at Arlington. During the preliminary rounds, they placed 2nd in the Fight Song category, 3rd place in Band Dance category, and 5th place in the Time Out cheer category. This team fought hard and performed a perfect routine in the Finals round. The RHHS Cheer team placed 3rd overall in the Finals round in Large Coed Division bringing home bronze medals.
